KMXC-DB | Mix Country 106 is proud to announce the addition of a brand-new weekly show to its programming lineup, Red Dirt Proud, hosted by award-winning radio personality JB Cloud. The show will officially debut Friday, January 23rd at 6 PM Central, bringing four hours of Texas Red Dirt and country music to listeners each week.
Red Dirt Proud is a nationally recognized Texas Red Dirt program that celebrates the artists, songs, and stories that define the independent country movement. From today’s biggest Red Dirt names to classic favorites and emerging voices, the show delivers an authentic sound rooted in Texas tradition and real country storytelling. Each episode is carefully curated to spotlight the music that lives outside the mainstream while honoring the legacy and influence of the Texas country scene.
In addition to the weekly four-hour broadcast, KMXC Mix Country 106 will also carry Red Dirt Proud’s daily Texas Country News updates along with This Day in Country Music History, both hosted by JB Cloud. These short-form features will air throughout the week, providing listeners with timely Texas country headlines, industry updates, and a look back at the moments, artists, and songs that helped shape country music’s past.
